Terms and Conditions
1. The enrolment of the student is accepted on the basis that the student commences the course on the date specified when enrolling.
2. By clicking the checkpoint at the end of the course booking form, you confirm you’ve read and agree with our terms and conditions. If the person paying the fees is doing so on behalf of the student they agree that clicking the checkbox confirms that both the payee and the student have read and agree with the terms and conditions.
3. All deposits are non refundable, without exception. If the student pays the course fee in full, note that a value up to £500.00 is considered to be the deposit (please refer to our payments & refunds terms for full information)
4. Course days - We are open 5 days a week. Monday to Friday. Courses are not available weekends. Please refer to our website and any correspondence for course days for specific courses.
5. Total Barber Academy reserves the right to change and confirm another date or days at any point if necessary during the course.
6. If a student fails to attend the confirmed course or complete the course for any reason, no fees will be refunded (please refer to our payments & refunds terms for full information)
7. No allowance will be given for any absence or lateness without prior agreement.
8. Total Barber Academy reserves the right to amend dates and times in the event of any delays or circumstances that affects the training.
9. We are not able to add extra days to a course for days lost due to student illness, bank holidays or any unforeseen circumstances. We will be as accommodating to students as possible without detriment to any other students. In the event that TotalBarber Academy has to close for a few days, we will of course add those days to the end of the course.
10. We will periodically use images and videos we make in the academy for publicity and commercial use. If you do not wish to be used for these reasons you must inform us when you start the course.
11. Students are required to inform tutors and staff of any personal circumstance that they feel may affect their training. We want to help students get the best from their course and any information given to us will not be held on file and will be confidential.
12. You agree to inform us of any learning or social difficulties that could impede on your learning. All information is confidential and is purely to ensure that you obtain a full learning experience.
13. The course will run for the duration stated in the booking confirmation. If special course times have been agreed with a student, these will be confirmed and agreed by email and in advance of the student starting their course.
14. VTCT who are the governing body for the NVQ will hold your Name, Address and contact details on their records for NVQ purposes.
15. We do not store debit/credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
MUA Barber Course
These Terms and conditions apply only in regard to MUA/Wig/stylists for film, television, theatre and editorial work.
These terms cover the employment needs of the above professionals for these specific details only. The remainder of the main Terms and Conditions apply as usual.
1. Payment of the deposit is acceptance of our terms and conditions and confirms the students course place. The deposit paid is for the booked course only. All deposits are non refundable, without exception. If a student pays the course fee in full, note that the first £500.00 is considered to be the deposit.
2. Please refer to emails for course days and times, as these are individually agreed with the student.
3. Course days can be amended to fit around work commitments, with prior agreement. Any days taken out from the course for work commitments will not be lost and will be added onto the course time for the student.
4.If a student fails to complete or attend the booked course for any reason, no fees will be refunded (unless an agreement has been made with the academy).
Refunds policy
COURSE FEE PAYMENT & REFUNDS
All fees must be paid by the due date of the invoice that TotalBarber issues to you, otherwise your course place may not be guaranteed
The Deposit is non-refundable and must be paid when booking the Course.
Course places can be cancelled within 14 days of payment of the deposit, by notifying us in writing. If the booked course start date is within 14 days, TotalBarber also reserve the right to charge 25% of the course fee if they are unable to sell the place made vacant. The deposit remains non-refundable
Your place on the Course will only be guaranteed once full payment has been received. In the event of late payment of any Fees due to us, you risk forfeiting your space on the Course (without TotalBarber incurring any losses)
If you fail to attend or complete the Course for any reason, or your participation on the Course is terminated by TotalBarber for behaviour as stated on our Terms & Conditions form, then you will not be entitled to any refund of course fees, unless agreed in writing by TotalBarber. Any refund for failure to attend or failure to complete the Course is entirely at the discretion of TotalBarber. There will no fees refunded if you are removed from the course for reasons as stated on our Terms & Conditions
All payments made are final and non-refundable except where the Course is cancelled by TotalBarber, except where such cancellation is due to your breach of these Terms or otherwise caused by an Act of God or terrorism.
